The Greene County Iowa Genealogical Society will meet Saturday, Dec. 6, in the basement meeting room of the Jefferson public library. Members will go see records at Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home, if they are available.
Members are asked to bring items for donation to the food pantry and snacks to share as they discuss family Christmases past and current. They will also prepare the annual newsletter for mailing.
The meeting room and reference library is handicapped accessible. It is staffed Wednesdays from 1 to 3 pm and Saturdays from 9 to 11 am, or by appointment. Members have access anytime during library hours.
